"By the One in Whose Hand my soul is, were you not to commit sins, Allah would replace you with a people who would commit sins and then seek forgiveness from Allah; and Allah would forgive them".
Riyad as-Salihin 422
yea but its important that this is done in arabic for the reward so far i know as an english translation is not a qur2an but just a translation.
below from islamQA
“The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong)” [al-Baqarah 2:185]
Jibreel used to come to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) every night in Ramadan, and study the Quran with him. Narrated by al-Bukhari, 5; Muslim, 4268.
Usamah ibn Zayd said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, I do not see you fasting in any month as you fast in Sha’ban? He said: “That is a month that people neglect between Rajab and Ramadan, but it is a month in which people’s deeds are taken up to the Lord of the Worlds and I would like my deeds to be taken up when I am fasting.”Narrated by al-Nasai (2357)
We still have time before Ramadan to fast couple of days in this Sha'ban, May Allah accept the deeds of those who are fasting

- Narrated Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari: that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful....'' Sahih al-Bukhari 5590
Though there are alternatives, most popular is ''Nasheed'' that is made with du'aas and Ayat, behind them voices of men (male) singing, which do not replicate an instrument, but sounds beautiful.

“And when they stand up for prayer, they stand with laziness and to be seen of people, and they do not remember Allah but little.” (Surah an-Nisā 4:142).
So, one of them will not do any actions which are pleasing to Allah unless he is amongst the people because he desires their praise—so the motivation behind his deeds is the desire to be seen by people, and therefore his deed is nullified.
(Conveyed by) A messenger who recites to you the verses of Allāh that clearly explain (His just laws and wise commands) that He may bring out those who believe and do righteous deeds from the darknesses into the light. And whoever believes in Allāh and works righteousness, He will enter him into gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein forever. Allāh has perfected for him a provision (therein).
[Qurʾān 65:11]
Tell the disbelievers that if they desist, their past will be forgiven. But if they persist, then they have an example in those destroyed before them.

''A year'' hadith adds up to the fact that every good deed we do is multiplied by 10. so 30x10 is 300 and 6x10 is 60, making it 360 which is only 5 days short of a whole year. Islam never contradicts itself, it is amazing.
-Sunan Ibn Majah 3823 (multiplied by 10)
-Sahih al-Bukhari 1894 (multiplied by 10)
They (some people) mentioned humility in the presence of Al-Hasan Al-Basri, may Allah have mercy upon him, while he kept quiet until they spoke a lot about it. Then he said to them: ‘I see you speaking profusely about humility’. They said: ‘O Abu Sa’eed! What is humility?’ He said: ‘He (a person) exits his house and does not meet a Muslim, except thinking that the other is better than him'”.

Torah, Deuteronomy 33:2
''...The LORD came from Sinai, And dawned on them from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran...'
Sinai or to be specific Mount Sinai is where Moses/Musa (a.s.) got the revelation that is Torah.
Seir or to be specific Mount Seir is around where Jesus/Isa (a.s.) lived.
Paran is Faran, which is the old name of Mecca, Mount Paran is where Muhammad (s.a.w.) got the revelation which was '' Iqra' '' the first revelation of Qur'an.
Qur'an, Surah At-Tin
''By the fig and the olive, (Jerusalem, Seir is usually associated with the chain of mountains West and South of the Dead Sea extending through Jerusalem)
and Mount Sinai,
and this secure city (of Mecca/Paran/Faran)!..''
Verily, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths (grade) of the Fire; no helper will you find for them.
Except those who repent (from hypocrisy), do righteous good deeds, hold fast to Allah, and purify their religion for Allah (by worshipping none but Allah, and do good for Allah's sake only, not to show-off), then they will be with the believers. And Allah will grant to the believers a great reward.
[Surah An-Nisa 4:145-146]
Testimony may sometimes be translated like this, and it isn't wrong but I have seen some people become confused, and may Allah not show, a muslim thinking ''there are 'other gods' but Allah is the only one we should worship.'' This idea is completely wrong and will take you out of Islam. This translates to like this due to ilaah meaning both ''god/deity'' and ''something that is worshipped (basically a god, again)'', so there is no difference when translating it like ''No god except Allah'' and ''No god to worship except Allah.'' And sometimes people just do it to make it sound their words more ''rich'' to say the least. Do NOT be confused; there is nothing LIKE, MORE or EQUAL to Allah.
Also ilaah (or to be precise Al-ilaah) is one of Allah's name, a little but important Islamic fact
“There was no behaviour more hateful to Allāh’s Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, than lying. A man would tell a lie when speaking in the presence of the Prophet, and he would not be satisfied until he knew that he had repented from it.”
[at-Tirmidhi 1973]
