Much like our corporate overlords, this game is completely uninterested in making sure you're having a good time. Very similar to Cruelty Squad, if you're willing to stick with it and figure out how not get instantly killed by everything you run into, there's some absolute brilliance here. Lots of weird systems, wild quests, and cool mech creation. I'm very excited to see where they take this game when it's fully released. I love games that shoot for the stars, and don't treat your character like they're something special, this game is that and then some.

I think this game is fantastic, when it's not getting in it own way. The combat is excellent, the exploration is great. But the kinetic combat grinds to a halt whenever you have to use the computers to get anything done, like turning back on the power, or unlocking doors. The fact that you have to type in obnoxiously long commands, where if you get one thing wrong, well go back and use a command to see what you got wrong, and then try again. It's just a frustrating design that wastes time, and is not fun in any way. I gave up when I wanted to check out the very first sub objective after finally figuring out how to turn off the electricity that was blocking the way, only to be blocked again by a requirement to find FOUR more codes, which I assume would require that much more computer use. I hope the devs improve the computers to not waste so much time, maybe a toggle option for those that enjoy it? The game automatically saving passwords you've seen would also be a big QOL improvement.

EDIT: I appreciate the developers quick response, the tab key auto-complete will likely bring me back into the game, I look forward to seeing that implemented. I had no idea that passwords were being added anywhere, a popup informing you that a password has been added to your notes would clear that up. I've changed my review as I hope this game sees more success as you put in more improvements, the foundation of this game is fantastic!
