TL;DR: If you don't mind RNG gameplay, you might like it.

I like the art. Soundtrack is ominous and fits well within the theme. Didn't expect it to have decent voice acting. Unfortunately the game is pure RNG. All you do is roll dice and do damage based off the rolls. There are artifacts to "make a build" but mostly all they do is alter the dice in some unexciting way. There is little to no skill expression. To me personally that is a pretty bland way to spend my time. If you don't mind the RNG aspect then maybe the game is for you. Other than the gameplay I had no complaints, however, I am refunding. Would give neutral rating if possible.

TL;DR: An above average roguelike that's missing so little to be great.

The game is okay, but nothing really stands out. Build variety is mediocre, as is the itemization system. It's the same system RIsk of Rain uses except the items here are just... meh.

There is a lack of content in my opinion. Little to no motivation to keep an endless run going and besides that there's nothing to do once you beat the main boss, which is just 5 zones.

I'm recommending because it's priced correctly and I did enjoy the time I spent in it.

TL;DR: Avoid this pile of garbage.

How this has been in development since 2013 is beyond me. Maybe if they worked on adding content and fixing things instead of completely reworking the game every 2 years it'd be okay-ish.

Multiplayer borderline unplayable. Ping is crazy no matter what server you connect to. Even a dedicated server with friends has me going to 1k ping despite my internet being completely fine.

Game still looks like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, barely any improvement over initial version. Everything is janky, UI is horrendous, movement feels ♥♥♥♥, combat barely makes you feel anything.

Couple guns, couple melee weapons, couple armor. There's nothing here. This is a game in early access state.. except... oh wait, it's been 12 years already.

It's an insult to ask 40eur for this. What a joke.

5h on hardmode, already out of content. Mediocre. If you're expecting a Terraria-like experience you'll be disappointed.

Progression isn't very interesting or exciting. Bosses are just bullet sponges, some have poor visual clarity. Your character glides across the floor like there's ice everywhere, very poor character control, which is funny considering there are dungeons where you need to avoid traps. Gear choice feels limited.

It's not the worst thing out there but I wouldn't recommend it either.

TL;DR: It's aight I guess, would give mixed if possible. Definitely better than BL3. Performance issues and bugs are prevalent. BL2 is still king.

The gameplay itself has already been improved in BL3 by a large margin. BL4 does not differ from BL3 in gameplay by much. It's pretty much the same feeling, which isn't a bad thing.

Story of BL4 is a massive improvement over BL3 which was just full of cringy pop-culture references. Dialogue was painful to listen to and it was just too long while keeping you locked in Sanctuary. Thank god they fixed all of this. There is no single safehouse that you have to keep returning to. You can walk anywhere, do anything, while you get the dialogue and story. Just the way it was in BL2.

The open world map is a huge improvement in my opinion. This feels way more like a world I can believe in than any of the other BL games. There's only a handful of loading screens. Other than that everything intertwines seemlessly. One thing that bugs me however is that there's no minimap. Lowkey infurating. I don't enjoy opening the map every 2 seconds.

Be aware that NOTHING is shared between characters. That includes unlocked open world stuff, money, eridium, badass tokens, nothing except for items in your bank.

I'm not a big fan of how they handled New Game+. You no longer replay the story, rather it just ups the difficulty of everything on the map, that's it. When you create new characters after defeating the game, you can choose to completely skip the campaign and spawn a level 30 char. It's not a big deal, but it does bug me a little.

I would feel a lot better about recommending this if it wasn't so damn bugged. Rubberbanding and no hit reg in co-op have been a huge issue for me. Performance isn't the worst I've seen, but it ain't great, you can definitely feel the latency when aiming even with semi decent FPS.

Characters are okay I guess. I don't feel strongly about them one way or the other.

TL;DR: ♥♥♥♥ is good

It's a roguelike that's heavily inspired by Risk of Rain 2. It doesn't take itself seriously and there are jokes all over the place, jokes that are actually funny. The game includes a couple of areas with varying difficulty and challenges which reminded me of Rogue: Genesia. Overall this is one of those roguelikes you can't seem to put down for a good while. Hoping for more content.

World map progression, gear with stats, decent amount of skill choices, and a couple of other systems on top to drive home a customizable roguelike.

Factions and rep is something I wasn't expecting but it works. Game is well optimized and stylized. It's like a Rogue: Genesia and Halls of Torment crossover.

Hopefully it won't get abandoned. Has potential to be a great roguelike.

also you can look at peepee, hehe.

At first I was hesitant because of the way the game looks (personal preference). Decided to give it a shot regardless and let me tell you, it makes up in every other way.

If you love putting together a build, scaling your damage or defences a bit unconventionally, you're gonna feel right at home. What seems like a very simple game is suddenly a somewhat complex and fun power fantasy. Reminds me of Path of Exile a bit, the way some of the builds work, and the tools you get to solve certain problems.

There are enough levels to go through and a lot of ways to alter your runs, not to mention the huge amounts of cards, equipment and artifacts you can unlock that allow for more and more complicated interactions and builds. I'm 37 hours deep and I still got things to try out.

This one definitely deserves a spot among other roguelike/bullet hell bangers like Picayune Dreams or Halls of Torment.

There are certain things that need to be worked on, the equipment system is a good example. It does the job well and serves a purpose, but the UI and crafting of it could use some improvements. This does not take away from the overall experience however.

Never occurred to me Lethal Company was missing physics until I played this game. Surprising how much fun you can have throwing around objects - or being thrown yourself. A lot of fresh ideas here, worth the price.

Not a Lethal Company clone like I thought it would be. It's more akin to co-op backrooms games. Short game for now, more content in the road map. For 4 euro, this is solid.
