Honestly speaking if this game didn't have an always online requirement, and didn't have issues with running on steam deck, this would probably be my favorite rhythm game of all time. As it stands, it's still the best rhythm game that I currently play, and I do think it's worth the money if you can snag it during a sale, but I can only recommend the main game expansions since those are the only ones that actually progress the still developing story of the title characters. The collab DLC isn't anything special for the most part, and it's fine, but the v extensions and the v liberty packs are the only things you really could consider necessary. The other non-collab packs are just the songs from previous games in the series, so they're nice if you don't own the four handheld games from the psp/vita. Small tip, I find 8 key on a lot of songs is easier with a playstation style controller, but ymmv especially in the newer tracks since they seem to favor keyboard inputs more.
