Suffers from lots of issues with refinement(Bugs here and there, odd meaningless quests). Yet somehow, I enjoyed it far more than I should have. I have to say the fact I got it on sale makes a huge difference to this. Beautiful scenery once you are off the first island(Which takes too long)

AMAZING mage skill system. Horrible UI and awful item screen... Still somehow fun, and doesn't take itself too seriously.

Sucked initially, but once I got past about 4-5 hours it got super fun.

I think given the terribleness of the beginning of the original game, the DLC is overlooked. In the original game, as soon as you reach the second island (New Ashos) it's quality significantly improves. However, at that point the rest of the pieces of the game feel a little bit rushed and pieced together awkwardly. In this Expansion pack installment, it doesn't offer too much additional questline or universe. BUT(and a big but here) It is far improved from the original game in intrigue. The content feels a lot like the original fable, if there is anything I can compare it to. Secondly, I think with the boost of funds from the launch of two worlds this feels a bit more polished(Mind you still laden with some of the bugs of the original game)

It's fun if you dive in expecting not too much; if you're a fan of the original game I highly recommend as I found it far more enjoyable than it on its own. It also reaches a far nicer conclusion than that of the original game.

A+ title from a small developer, highly recommended for puzzle lovers craving the old dungeon crawler method. Controls may seem contrived at first, but once you get used to it it is pleasant to work around. Quick save and quick load function is an excellent addition, as it removes a lot of would-be frustration.

Highly recommended experience, albeit short... Enjoyable the first time around and as much in a second playthrough for me. Beautiful ending, gorgeous scenery and goes to show you don't need top of the line graphics.
