I hopped onto my game today which I've been playing for months when I got the notification that the legacy quest or whatever was beginning. The lady popped up, gave me the phone, and then I had to complete the task of traveling to the library. The travel option is disabled on my phone because it says 'Game in progress' or something like that, and I have no option to save my game or enter build/buy mode. updated sims 4, updated one mod, started game and everything (including event thing) seemed to work okay, then I noticed all my saves had gone. They weren't there under load game, the only option I had was 'start a new game' . That I don't want to do. Then I remembered a few saves I made (outside sims 4) and I managed to recover one from late 2023 (a lot has changed since then). Not ideal but the best I can do. I hate the sims 4 now....
