Hello terraformers!

2025 has been a great year for Planet Crafter! After the creation of the free Moons update we released the Toxicity DLC.

Your reception for Toxicity was great. We read all the feedbacks we could to see where we could improve. So, we are releasing a small patch to perfect it. (scroll down for more info)

For 2026, we'll continue working on Planet Crafter. Our main focus for the coming months will be to release a Quality Of Life & Improvements update, and then, a new free Moon sometime before the end of the year.

And a few other surprises we'll keep secret for now ;-)

• Added a new creature specific to Toxicity : Doggox! (find it in the wild on purified Toxicity, pet it to get it's genetics)

• Added 2 new decorations tables on Toxicity (find the blueprints in the research center lockers)

• Added 2 new caves on Toxicity (in the mining pit, once you've drained the water)

• Added a new animal effigie (chance to find it in wrecks)

• Fixed issues with clients not being able to grab some dropped objects

• Fixed issue with trees not appearing around ecosystems

• Various optimizations on textures, performances, materials, environments

• Upgrade engine version

Hello Terraformers!

We've just updated a new version (v1.616) on the development branch.
To try it, see the "How to switch branches?" question in the FAQ.

This updates increase the engine version. It should not change anything, but could cause unexpected differences.

Let us know if you see any discrepancies between this version and the one on the master branch.

As usual, restart Steam to get the update, and backup your save before trying the dev branch. All players must have the same version to play co-op. If you have issues launching the game, remove all your mods before reporting bugs.
