None of that open-world drive to your next race stuff. No crashing 100 billboards for achievement points or any such grinding as an excuse to keep you in the game. Instead, you transition directly from intense race to intense race. This intensity grows as the story progresses. The tension between the characters in the story does something for me too... i like it.

The game reminds me that i have never played racing games to explore a virtual world. I play them to race. I enjoy the thrill & tension of doing whatever it takes to place 1st. I am a simple man.

It's a very fun game but it has some issues: AI is too dumb regardless of difficulty, you can't report players for dirty driving, and the cars seem to have no traction or downforce, because even with a big ass wing mounted to your car you ain't gonna get much downforce.

Other than those issues the game is really good and definitely worth a try.

This game has the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AI I have ever seen in a racing game.
