Lots of people when they refer to OpenTTD or RCT they say they still play RCT2 without mention of RCT3. Is/was this game less well-received then RCT2 for some reason. Essentially, I want to enter the genre but am unsure where,

Its show no permission to save file on harddisk so what the solution or I just can't play it anymore. Thanks

Are there many issues with compatibility, crashes, or things like that? Or can I expect a decent experience?

This game has been running fine for me for about 6 weeks. All of a sudden, it has started crashing ever 15 minutes or so. It's incredibly frustrating! Is anyone else having this issue? Already restarted Steam, restarted my computer, checked for updates, etc....

Just installed this game on Macbook Air M4 (fanless). The graphic settings do not affect anything. With high performance, balance or high quality, temperature stays at 60c, frame rates stay at 100fps. Even on custom setting with everything off. Any way to lower frame rates to 60 or even 30? Lower frame rates will kill temperature instantly. Tried using -fps_max 30 on properties, did not work either. (currently on MacOS Tahoe 26.2)...
