Disappointment.

Since S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl I've been a massive fan. I think only the 2nd game I've ever pre-ordered after DayZ standalone was this one, however...

Out of the trailers looked promising, what we have been waiting for.

Then, unpolished is not even close to a key word.
Performance terrible, years go by, game updates rising new issues which weren't present before.
A-Life which was a hearth of this game is difficult even to describe at this point (nothing close to feel of original one).
Constant "upgrade packages" as begging for money were people put trust in first place in this title and also considering war in between a bit of a support. Then all of this for nothing.

Actually I remembered myself now they apparently this supposed to include some war experiences within the game itself or russian conflict. Hard to find anything real at this point. Seems more like a selling point that was easy to believe.

Unable to finish this title despite multiple tries at multiple stages of production. Regret I put money in it and I do not comment games mostly at all, however this one seems bit personal.

I wonder those days how to look at game pages regarding feedback since there is a lot of negative and this still stays "mostly positive". Overhyped at the promised start like all. Maybe in 5 - 10 years it will be ok. Enough for today. Never again.

I have two copies of Stalker 2, one for the xbox where I'm past 50h of gameplay, and this steam copy. What can I say besides "GSC did it!"? They really pulled it off. I remember when this game was under development and a lot of content creators actually doubted how much of what was displayed in trailers was really going to make it to the full version of the game, and some even questioned if it was all fake gameplay, like The Day Before. Well, they were all wrong.
Even with their country being invaded and some co-workers losing their lifes to protect their nation, they held together and delivered an amazing game.
Congratulations GSC.

This is an excellent game spoiled by bugs especially Assault on Duga where you cannot progress in the game,the bugs prevent this. Until these bugs are resolved i would advise anyone not to purchase this game.
