Why is it locked to 57 fps?

So far (30 minutes in) I'm getting a weird mix of controller screen prompts and keyboard screen prompts. At the same time, the tutorial advice is oriented toward mouse commands. Might we have to set up a customized command set tailored to the controller combination being used? And, if so, will that come with screen prompts to match? Don't know the answers yet, but those are the takeaway questions after my first toe dip into the game. The action is fast and fluid, but clearly, learning the command sets...

This game reminded me of Senran Kagura. But there's also Musou in the genre. I haven't liked any games in the Musou style. But Senran Kagura is one of my favorite series. So, in short...I've never played any games from this series before. I watched some videos, but it didn't feel like Musou to me. Musou is more like the Dynasty Warriors series....
