I've started playing through the Darkness route and the game suggests that the wolves can actually choose to kill no one at night. The only option to explore this though goes straight to a bad ending without answering whether it's actually possible at all. Do we ever get any clarity on whether they can skip out on killing (but always choose not to) or if killing every night is mandatory?...
