I wouldn't recommend it, It's not worth your effort. Sure, there's the initial rush of adrenaline during your first heists in the neighborhood and earning your money [well, in the effort you put in to not getting caught], but after that, you start seeing how tedious and irritating this game is.

There isn't much story apart from some small bits of dialogue between you as the Thief and Vinny, it's mostly just him telling you what to do. Then there's the game itself. Tenants basically have night vision and impossible eyesight, and some sort of super sense where they're basically aware of their surroundings while asleep. You'd expect their detection range to become smaller and/or their detection bar to increase slower when they're asleep, but no, it's the same as always. This forces you to crouch everywhere, or learn how to edge their detection meter by running, couching when it's almost full, and the same thing when opening and closing cabinets, mainly the closing parts if they're not that close. Not to mention that they can hear noises from across the house, and even if you're sneaking into their room while they're asleep, they'll just, wake up immediately??? Even if you're hugging the wall, they will still somehow know you're there and wake up, immediately calling the police.

Oh and guess what? All that effort you put into locking the door again once you're inside? Forget about that with electronic locks. You also can't close windows from the inside, just from the outside. At the very least, they should've added some way to lock them again from the inner side of those locks, but no, you just can't at all. The game itself is overall pretty buggy, as say, when you toss stuff over large walls or fences, sometimes the items will just clip into the ground and disappear completely, forcing you to load your checkpoints. The game itself is also pretty unoptimized, and hell, the fact that there isn't a way to make the whole "spying on tenants with binoculars to record their schedule" simpler or speed it up is horrible. You're pretty much forced to buy a micro camera for every house and collect them again after a day, but oh?? Some houses don't even have mailboxes to put them in. You're only allowed to place one inside a living room in a shelf as a part of the story. I know for sure they couldn't added that to all of the houses, and not just limited it to a mailbox and/or a shelf.

Apparently, the only thing that qualifies as checkpoints is moving stuff into/out of your inventory from the storage, and most of the time, exiting your car/van. By the way, you can park anywhere to avoid the cops if they're called, that way they can't tow you. Park far from the roads and parking spaces, usually even behind properties as there's a clear line on the map and in the environment itself [green] that is qualified as out of bounds/exit the neighborhood. If you don't want to drive out, just run out of the map, your vehicle will keep everything inside, which is also intended for you to do when you steal other vehicles. You can keep your loot in your car/van, and drive off in the civilian car. They need to add a manual save or something though.

Then there's also just the grind for money in general. Some items will respawn in houses, but most will not. There's no sort of freecam when disassembling stolen vehicles, so you have to change what part you are disassembling or wave your mouse around like an idiot looking for a red or green outline. It's also just, slow in general. And you can't just hover and hold the part you're removing, you have to make sure it's selected.

Your own movement? You can barely hop, you can get stuck in between objects since their hitboxes are too big, especially when you climb thorugh a window between a soda and a small table. Driving feels slippery or just weird, especially when you expect to turn more when going slower. The fact that you can't put 4 large items instead of the normal 3 inside your van is annoying, and for it's size, you'd expect to be able to put in at most, 6 thin items and 4 large items, but nope. You're also heavily limited to 35 pounds in your backpack, and the internal/box storage of the van only holds 30 pounds. Seriously?? To top it all off, carrying large items is irritatingly slow, I discovered that you can carry these items faster by throwing them and picking them back up from the floor as you walk.

And to top it off, the story itself just felt very underwhelming for the effort you put into it. 2/10, don't buy this at all.
