Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is, without exaggeration, one of the most beautiful and immersive open-world games I have ever played. From the very first moment you step into ancient Greece, the game overwhelms you with its stunning visuals and breathtaking world design. The landscapes are so gorgeous that I genuinely have over 80 screenshots saved just of nature alone—sunsets over the Aegean Sea, dense forests, towering mountains, peaceful islands, and vibrant cities that feel alive. Every region feels handcrafted with love, and simply exploring the world is a reward in itself, as few games manage to make me stop playing just to admire the view, and Odyssey does that constantly. The world of ancient Greece is not just big but rich, detailed, and full of character, whether you are sailing across the sea, discovering hidden temples, climbing massive statues, or wandering through bustling cities like Athens and Sparta, because it never gets old. The atmosphere is incredible, the soundtrack perfectly complements the sense of adventure and freedom, and this is a world you don’t just play in, you live in. The story is also fantastic, emotional, and surprisingly personal, following the journey of Kassandra through meaningful choices, family drama, tragedy, and growth, and she is an excellent protagonist—charismatic, strong, witty, and deeply human. Her voice acting is outstanding, she carries the entire game effortlessly, and she feels like one of the best main characters in the entire Assassin’s Creed franchise, making her journey genuinely engaging and memorable. What I truly don’t understand is the hate this game gets, because Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is massively overhated, often criticized for not being a real Assassin’s Creed game, an argument that completely falls apart when you play the Legacy of the First Blade DLC, which clearly explains the origins of the Hidden Blade, the Assassins, and how everything connects. The lore is there, it is simply told in a different and more ambitious way, expanding the universe instead of limiting it, which deserves praise rather than criticism. In the end, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is a bold, beautiful, and unforgettable experience that offers an incredible world, a powerful story, an amazing main character, and hundreds of hours of content without ever feeling empty, and for me, it is not just good but one of the best Assassin’s Creed games ever made.

Amazing game, I played it and beat it, unlocked every achievement and found everything on all maps. Amazing story and the close friendships with Kassandra closes friends made me feel even more for the characters. What a good game this was.

This game reminds me of Skyrim with how replay-able it is. I spent probably over a thousand hours on console in this game and I knew this had to be one of the first games I added to my collection when I made the swap to PC. I will forever love this game and include it in my top 5. Amazing combat system, boss design, story, etc. Just a great game in general, I highly recommend buying the DLC's as well. This game has a very large open world map with tons of mythical creatures to fight and all sorts of weapon and armor combinations to try out, really allowing you to fully customize your playstyle. You get a ship to upgrade and even a whole entire arena system to fight your way to the top in. 10 out of 10
