Some of you may have noticed the mass influx of horror games being played from us via Steam. Orrrrrrrrrr maybe you haven't. There is a reason to this however! For the month of October our stream will be dedicated to nothing but horror games, and every Friday in the month will be reserved for the most special of events! A lot of the EG staff will be joined on the stream as we play through specific horror games, toss out some goodies and giveaways, and possibly a special guest or two. Remember, this is every Friday in the month of October starting at 6pm Eastern Time.

So now comes the big question, "Why?" Well you see, here at Elder-Geek it's become a tradition more or less to hold major charity events. Some of you will remember last years Skyrim marathon, or even the Fallout New Vegas marathon. Well we decided to change it up this year with a month long event. It's all for the sake of Child's Play Charity. On our website and our Twitch.TV page there will be a chip-in where all proceeds will be directly sent to Child's Play. Any little bit counts. If you can't donate, do not worry! The next best thing you could do is spread the word. Whether that be via twitter or facebook, let people know what we're doing. So come join us all month on stream while we play some awesome horror games!
