Games are played for fun, and everybody should communicate to each other in a friendly and mature manner, Civilization multiplayer is a very emotional and fun game, and things will not always go your way; take it as a tribute to your skill when people gang up on you!

NQ Discord

With the conclusion of NQ Tournament 9 (Congratulations to all Finalists and our champion Lumpen)

The Tournament Discord will now become the NQ Community Discord, it will still be the tournament discord server but we are making a move to have NQ Group pickup games via Discord as an alternative to the Steam Chat.

In order to gain access and become an NQ Group member you will need to have your Discord account and Steam account linked in your profile and have it visible, once done just type in the welcome room requesting access
and a Mod will give you the role.

Once you have the role you will see a bunch of new channels open up, a member area, drafts(draft bot coming soon!), streamer area and so on.

We have previously attempted to migrate to Discord in the past but the full functionality wasn't there and it was in Discord's infancy, as it is here to stay and there is a ton of QoL for us to use, we want to build out the community
with what's on offer within Discord and aim for better quality of games and get people who want to, to utilise voice chat as well.

Name Changes

There has recently been some players changing nicknames, joining lobbies and then quitting while immediately changing name again.

This makes it very difficult to track them, if youre an experienced member in the group and you see someone for the first time, you should check out their profile and keep their ID handy until the game is done, we cannot take action on quitters without a profile.

2 low teach and 2 other semi low techs that has been discovered by all other civs and a gs and u are in a loop with it.

Problem with scholars is that it is very easy to unintetionally do tech loop, and even easier to do it intentionally. try to watch yoruss video.
