ABOUT Tari Tari

A group that loves Tari Tari for whatever reasons

Most Japanese animes have some sort of supernatural, or fictitious hook that helps to make people a lot more interested and get more popular (Magic or Advanced technology) It's a bit rare when an anime decides to stick to reality and doesn't include complete melodrama. What makes Tari Tari unique, is how despite staying in reality, it seems to have every clichéd anime element out there, but still remains unused. A new transfer student arriving at school, a girl in the same class that wants to establish a new club and needs new members, and even perfect moments for pointless fan service that so many animes have and many love for some odd reason. Despite all of these things that are so easy to take advantage of, Tari Tari never crumbles like other animes to please the many who like these bland things and holds itself to a higher standard that doesn't involve useless fan service or melodrama, favoring instead of more realistic turn of events.

Although some characters have more or less screen time is where Tari Tari's weak point as a show, some characters get less screen time than you would like to see, but it's easy to see why. The short length of the show is of course why this happens and wouldn't be possible to continue with all characters, but it's a short weak point at most. Quickly switching gears, the show's point of staying in reality is where it shines. Uncontrollable things happen, and you just have to deal with it. Most anime's try to push too hard on a happy ending, and Tari Tari tries as well (taking a few too many steps to make a happy ending) although only to a very minor extent.
It may not be a show for everyone, as it doesn't have sugary and sappy designs that made other animes more famous or others that are completely watched for fan service.
Of course this is mostly a group for people who have seen it already and these are my own thoughts on it, but it's how I see it and even if you haven't seen it and are wishing for a more reality-based show with no needless fan service or melodrama, Tari Tari is worth every minute of your time.
