In Highlander, each team has one of each mercenary, making up a team of 9 players overall. This format plays closer to TF2 casual and is a great introductory experience into the competitive scene. King of the Hill and Payload maps make up the map pool in the NA TF2 scene (RGL.gg). [rgl.gg]


Pick-up games (otherwise known as PUGs) are informal, organized matches where players join on the spot instead of being part of a permanent team. This is a great way to get a taste for the highlander format with little commitment and little pressure!

Staff send out pings informing players when PUGs are likely to run. You will be playing with other people who have little to no competitive experience. You are encouraged to ask questions throughout games or after! This is a learning experience after all.

ADDING UP TO PICK UP GAMES

1. Get the "OPEN Pick-Up-Games" role
2. Add to the voice channel "Add Up" in the Discord server
3. Wait for the voice channel to get 18 players
4. Be placed into a team by 2 random team captains
5. Choose a class and play!

You do NOT have to create an RGL.gg account if you do not have one yet. This is only to see who has competitive experience in a league. If you have played in ETF2L, UGC, OZFortress, or AsiaFortress, please link that instead.
