Add 1 cup of newbies, a teaspoon of veteran players, and season with an impending new installment. What could possibly go wrong?

When it first released, I played Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate like every prior installment. I practically locked myself in my room, taking in the new story, weapons, monsters, and playing ALL the way through single-player before even thinking about multi. I finished the single player, met a couple of decent players whom I leveled up with, but they were seldom on, and fewer actually spoke. After having a glitch that prevented me from having a stable connection, I got whisked away by the spring of 2015's other good game releases, and off into the summer. Starting in August I tried to get 2 friends into the game, but due to school, one of them having very pressing "you have to be the valedictorian or you're dead to us" parents, and ensuing personal issues, neither of them ever got around to it. After I started playing Siege, I discovered during one group event that not one, but TWO of our members played Monster Hunter, and instantly I had a full party on my hands. Days later Monster Hunter: Generations was announced, and it all lined up. The four of us (maybe more) together, with a goal: Get everyone to finish the game, all the way to G-rank, by the time that Generations comes out. That's why this page exists.
