Due to a gmod bug you need to add -x before -noaddons so it becomes "-x -noaddons"

Light, I did exactly that (thanks for explaining it in an understandable way), but Hammer++ still loaded the addons folder, so I honestly don't know what to do now (or why nothing I've tried is working for that matter). Also give me a break: I have basically zero experience with using the command prompt.

Soup, yes, I figured that, but your instructions otherwise seem to make no sense.

By the way ficool, sorry if your comments section is being cluttered up with this discussion.

@thecarson116 i meant the address bar at the top, with the location of your folder.
